Sanctuary is a full studio apartment which can accommodate 3 people, with a single bed in addition to a queen and lots of closet space. It’s decorated with a Neo-Gothic theme and has a central sitting/dining/work area flanked by a long built-in bench under the windows. The windows look out on the Gryphon House front yard. Sanctuary has a full kitchen, gas log parlor stove, and an offset sleeping nook, featuring a queen bed in a custom-built frame of antique wood paneling. Beside the bed is an original mural of a medieval garden scene. Sanctuary is our only unit with cooking facilities and offers a full-sized refrigerator, oven, stove, dishwasher and abundant granite counter space. We provide coffee and a coffee maker, tea and electric kettle and toaster for convenience as well as plenty of glass and tableware. Sanctuary has a tiled bathroom with a combined tub and shower. It is the most private room in the Gryphon House, located on the basement level at the front of the house. We highly recommend it for longer stays and for parents with a young child. The room has wireless internet, a 42" HDTV, DVD and CD players . Amenities include plush bathrobes, iron and ironing board, toiletries and blow dryer.
